Touchscreens from ACL – always customised

Touchscreens play an increasingly important role in our human machine interface communication.

Machine and equipment manufacturers are also increasingly opting for touchscreen technology. But standard solutions often do not meet the needs of users. In such cases, ACL’s customised solutions provide a solution. We work together with renowned manufacturers of touch sensors, such as Higgstech, DMC, ELO, AMT and 3M. We integrate these into a customer-specific overall system that can be built in plug-and-play.

ACL develops and produces both PCAP and resistive touch screen control panels. These can each be combined with additional technologies, such as:

• membrane keyboards
• integrated circuit boards
• mechanical switches and/or encoders
• (TFT) displays
• Inverters, controllers, motherboards, joysticks, etc.

Projected capacitive touchscreens

In our own screen printing facility, glass plates or transparent plastics are custom printed using a special process that creates an excellent adhesion suitable for further assembly and integration. It is also possible to print digital patterns using a hybrid technology.
In the cleanroom, the touch sensors are connected to the screen via an optically transparent adhesive layer.

Finally, the unit is assembled in a stainless steel, aluminium or plastic housing.
