In-house production for the highest quality control panels
Metal processing
Many products are based on a milled aluminium or stainless steel carrier. Thanks to our in-house production with automated processing units, the technical and decorative qualities of these carriers are optimally guaranteed. ACL uses, for instance, aluminium that is produced according to our own standard. Any required surface treatment is carried out by external partners.
Screen Printing and digital printing
An important argument for opting for customised solutions is the complete freedom with regard to the design of the product. In our air-conditioned screen printing facility, we provide glass and films with high-quality printing, with both optical and functional lacquering. Thanks to years of experience in this field, we know exactly how to ensure the functionality and appearance of touchscreen panels, HMIs and control panels.
By means of conductive and insulating inks, we print entire circuits on plastic sheets with a thickness of approx. 100 microns. These circuits are used in, among other things, membrane technology.
The digital printing of materials such as glass and films is carried out using a state-of-the-art digital printer in a cleanroom environment. We are able to digitally print in all possible sizes (up to 2500×1600 mm), colors, and patterns. In cooperation with the manufacturer, we have achieved excellent adhesion under all possible conditions, while the print quality is indistinguishable from screen printing. It is also possible to print a relief on glass and films.
Assembly
In the end, all of these processes, from internal production to purchasing and outsourcing, come together in the assembly process. Due to the batch sizes with which we often work (usually between 25 and 250 pieces) automation is only possible to a limited extent. Quality and efficiency are therefore mainly guaranteed by sophisticated process control. It goes without saying that we offer ESD-safe conditions and that our cleanroom conforms to the appropriate ISO standard. This is particularly important for the assembly of PCAP touch screens and displays. Our products are 100% optically and functionally tested according to the specifications agreed with the customer.
